Air pump removal????????

Hi all,

I am in the process of stripping the metal bits from under the bonnet to get them powder coated.  I have come across the air pump with a big sticker on say never remove. What i need to know is whether i can remove and refit it after being powder coated without any specialist work?

Removed my airpump after it broke fella.  No problems at all.

Just take your time and watch you dont damage the oil pipes underneath.

Make sure you post some pics once youve done it though, be nice to see how clean it looks!

Yea... it comes off like the aulternator........ 1 bolt through the top (the pivot point) and a locking bolt underneath.
