A trip to the tuners ! 10/02/07

Well we set off from clunderwen south wales at 5am to go to WGT for a checkup
After about 1.5 hours of, well lets say wet,muggy conditions, we came across some white stuff

then some more

and then guess what, a tree in the middle of the road. So it was a quick u turn and re think our route



 
Well we did get there an hour late but there. Big thanks to pip for the great hospitality and burger king for lunch
 
well the camera went missing when mine was on the dyno but heres one of ballys

 
and heres my power graphs for a standerd twin turbo set up with pfc and everthing else stock

 
now its time to think which way i want to mod it.

Mine will be up with pip I think at the start of the summer..... got to get a few more of the tuning mods on first!!!

I might get flamed here but I had to cancel my WGT mapping for the same day as was going to take too long to clear the drive and lane leading to my house

:flamed  NO wouldnt do that  i would have prob done the same thing but a few of us are heading to s/pod this weekend and as the car is new to me just wanted to put my mind at rest before i cane it up the strip :burnout

well 2 say i was a little pi**ed off was a understatment mine got 280 atf at 0.5 bar but thats down 2 a faulty boost controller 1 min it boosted 0.5 then it was 1.4 when pip had to let off so new solinoid required but pip said  the car was capable of "lots " wit a few more bits so back i go on the 19th mwahahaha with the last of my budget lol

Wow! I was under the impression that rex was stock?? its running 300 bhp?? thats pretty impressive! how did you manage that?? think I might go outside and pop my bonnet!

yep it is totally stock, bar the exhaust, and hks bov. i was a little chuffed to say the least.
have got a spare bedroom full of stuff, xs power smic,japspeed down pipe, arc induction, and some induction hard pipes with not so good filters.
 
the arc is on, but i am still thinking about the xs ic as they seem to get slated and the arc wont fit if i do put on

I had my rex in at super 7 for a boost problem that turned out to be a bad vacuum line and saw your car there getting the engine done and was given the run down. I have pics of the porting job they to it if your interested??
