Don\'t blame you....should be up and running within two weeks so look to make your next meet :D

Nuk Su Kow

im leaning towards the rx now, ive been reading up of what seems to be the biggest issue with them "rebuilds"!!, so what it comes down to is should i buy on that needs a rebuild or one that just had one done recently??? pros and cons?

Nuk Su Kow

Problem is....if you go with one with a rebuild.....how do you know it was rebuilt properly.....

I\'ve gone for a re-build with street port so I know exactly whats been done.....costs me a little more in the long run but buy one you think is ok, watch it go pop and then have to spend the money?
I couldn\'t be ar5ed with the hassle....:bandit

Why thankyou sir,

Right then, all depends on what you want the car for, as a daily driver and for comfort and fuel economy the Skyline would be best, for sheer good lucks and grin factor the RX7 wins hands down.

Driving wise the RX7 is far better to be driven and much more fun, the Skylines are more smoother and more practical for everyday things.

You dont need mega money to get a quick one either way tbh, the R33 GTS i have just bought is making 300bhp @ 1bar and wheel spins in 1st and 2nd gears easily. The rx7 is a different animal where it needs more control and more thought when driving as they can be unforgiving :Giggle

Best thing to do is really sit down and work out what you need the car for, or get a test drive in each and see which you prefer, obviously you ask this question on here the answer will be the RX7, you ask on the Skyline forum the answer will be the Skyline :rollin :rollin :rollin

Like Gurj says, being on here I will be biased, but seeing those 2 cars side by side the winner is obvious. :Giggle

But it does depend on what you use it for.

I sold my laguna to use rx7 as an everyday car. It\'s strange taking it to tesco and the kebab shop but it can be done! :rollin

i will make this easy for you! If you got loads of money and good nervs, buy a RX7.. And if you dont have alot of money and you want your car to start everytime buy a R33 gts.

you don\'t need loads of money with a rex, just buy a good-un OR better still buy one with high miles for cheap and have a rebuild done (£3,500 ish) then you have a good and potentially reliable car to work from

Unfortunately, they\'re all *potentially* reliable...  :D :D

Not many live up to their potential though LOL
