i was egear for this months evo to drop through my door, apart from being a top mag, it also had one of our little beauties inside, and out side for that matter. £10k Heroes, cover story. Firstly well done to Justin the car looked spot on, and although they were not overly complamentory on the collour, imo i think that is the best standard, it seamed to go down very well. i dont want to spoil the read for everbody, so i\'ll leave it there. well done mate.

yay got it today \\o/ it is an excellent write-up, i wasn\'t expecting it to be the cover story too so that was a nice suprise!

DLN, it won\'t be in shops just yet, the subscription copies get sent out about a week earlier. it\'s issue 101 you want (well all the issues make good reading anyway!) which will be out on the 10th Jan.

Really enjoyed the feature and the write up. I\'ve always read/loved EVO.
Bov (Jethro Bovingdon) didn\'t endear himself to me this time however since

The Clio should definately not have won though.
My friend just sold his and got an Elise.
Those Clio\'s are great IF like the chap said you drive it on the weekend, not everyday. Its French, its crud.
Sounds great, looks like a transformer but isnt reliable, doesnt go into reverse and you can\'t do a 3 point turn in it.

But is it just me that spotted the mistakes that Evo made?

I like Evo, I\'m a subscriber, but in not very many words on the RX, I thought there were several inaccuracies - 2nd turbo being bigger and \'taking over\' from the primary, overstating the BHP output of a \'93 K Type R (280 BHP with no listed mods but admittedly an aftermarket back box visible so I don\'t know if yours is more than stock), and the often-quoted 60k rebuild without the comments about how this varies depending on how well the motor is treated (i.e. adding to the "RX-7 is unreliable" story).

If I noticed these inaccuracies in a car I know even a little about, how much can I believe what I read about all the other cars in the mag?
