I just wondered what peoples PFC/motecs were set to for the rev limit. Ive spoke to a few people and it seems to vary between 7.9-9K. Is there a proven safe limit on normal tips and what other variables does the limit depend on?

Mine is set at 8.1K and when i had it mapped at reworx some time ago they went to around 7.5k and it was still making power.

TA45 - 8100 but it pulls a lot further if I wanted. Pip convinced me to keep it lower as he said very high revs would shorten the life of the engine and I want 2 years out of it.

Timrxmotors

12,600 rpm and more,no rev limiter.On a 12A though.

Timrxmotors

Limiter set to 9000rpm on Greg\'s bridgeport, rotors have hit side plates where they were not clearanced.

My rev limit is set to 8.5k just to give a bit of headroom on gearchange.  Tend to aim to change at ~7900.
