gear knob

hi all how do you get the gear knob off a 3rd gen, does it just screw off like most cars, as ive tried that and did not come undone :mad:

yep unscrews.

Is it a standard 1?
If so as said unscrew (anticlockwise;) )
If not post a pic and we\'ll see
Usually have a bottom bit that unsrews revealing allen key bolts if aftermarket.
