:flamed My car was stood for just over a week and it would not start. put new battery, plugs and leads. got it started and it seems to run ok. but as soon as you TRY and drive it (over 2rpm) it just back fires kicks a big flame out the back on wont move..... PLEASE could anyone HELP......

Is it running smoothly on idle?

Check the map sensor is piped up ok and unplug it and plug it back in a few times to clen the conection.

Is the Cat light on when its runing?

Does it have any other mods? (Like a PFC)

It sounds like its simply flooded or Fuel from the flood being burnt off. Does it get better or worse the more you run it?

i\'ve taken to to a garage to let them fix it for me but even there not sure why its doing it. and no don\'t matter how long i run it for it don\'t get any better. and it idles up and down.
its driving me mad lol just would like to use it:Hammer

but could it really be still flooded?:2eek

Sounds like the MAP Sensor as Grizzly says, check the vacuum hose to the sensor is still connected or has not split

You may want to get them to do a Compression test while its in, there are a few diffrent things it could be but the only major things that could dump that much fuel in the exhaust is the Map sensor or Compression problems, even though it is possable you have\'nt droped a tip i would always sugest it becouse i like to check the big stuff first and work down.

Its possable things like Pugs or leads could cause a rotor to flood that bad so it may be worth investing in some plugs at the same time.

Thanks will go tell him tomorrow. just EVERY time turbo trys to come in just blows it back with a flame and dyes..... hope it is just something like that. Thanks again Jay:cheers
