The uk car was only sold in FULL spec (every thing on it) You could never buy a Jap car with the same spec as the UK car.

You can tell a UK car by the fog lights in the rear Bumper and the Proper Number  plate holder on the front.

Then if your questioning why a UK car is Better than a Jap one get an Insurance qoute ;) When i was running the UK car it was £200 less to insure then my Jap import (same year/value etc Plus i\'m now a year older)

Quote from: LeedsLadi didn\'t know they had twin oil coolers. I think that the sunroof and aircon were a joke for the uk market tho,
Yup, I like how they spec\'d them up then added another cat etc which droped the power down, So not only are Heavy there less powerfull (out the box)

Then you wack on a MASIVE!!! Price tag. :(

so the pre cat is the main reason for the lower stock power? I\'ve decatted mine need to get it mapped really:2Confused

Yeah, also the UK car is mapped for Normal 95ron fuel rather than Jap 101Ron stuff which also makes a difference.  Boost was the same as the Jap spec cars with 8bit ecu.

Hi

Mine is 96 RB Bathurst, white, 16 bit ECU ( it was till I changed to Apexi ECU )and I believe a touch more bhp in comparison to UK models..2 bucket seat, no sunroof, middle break light …cat only in the mid pipe which also made them a touch faster..

It has absolutely no rust any where…no salt in Japan…

craigr

My first FD was a silver 93 K reg one. Would love to know where it is now (assuming it\'s still on the road) - K*** SLX, added Pettit air, HKS catback + dumpvalve, 18" Kahn alloys. Part-exed it to a dealer in Bournemouth.

Anyone on here got it ?

Not me, but I very nearly had it.
Nearly bought it from a dealer out near Parley Cross (near Hurn airport).
Unfortunately I couldn\'t raise enough funds as I was broke from getting
my pilot\'s license. I do remember thinking it was a thing of beauty though.
He wanted £11,000 for it if I remember right and this was late 2000 or
early 2001.
