Guys,

Looking for some sheet stainless steel for some simple fab work im gonna be doing shortly, but having trouble sourcing some plain old steel sheet.

Anyone have any ideas, contacts or even better - sheet steel laying around?!

RAW

i use a guy in northwood hills. can\'t remember the name of the place but it\'s behind weatherspons etc on the main shopping parade.  it\'s a metal fabrication workshop and he will usually cut anything you want to size.

Or if it\'s small sheets you\'re after B&Q normally have a few different sheets of plain, mesh etc...
Montego Blue 94 R2 FD3S... Bling not included.

yeah they do but they are bloody expensive!

I thought about the metal fabrication places - maybe ill have a look around here as i work on an industrial estate...

Jit

if not try metals supermarket in Park Royal

Grizzly

Just look in the yellow pages for Metal distributers, if that fails ring a Welding suplys shop and ask if they can recomend anywhere.

Cally

look for metalsupermarket on google, they have them accross the UK I believe and the one near me does cracking deals for cash.

kev-yorks

Quite a lot at sensible money on ebay especially if you only want offcuts.
