that is obviously not a kit, just a turbo,  all those XS power turbos will work, they will not give the same performance as a \'proper\' rx7 kit like the Gt35/40 or T78 etc,  you may be lucky at get it just right with your set up and get good figures.   I personally dont think they would last as long running high boost as they are designed originally for Diesel engines which dont create as much Exhaust heast as a petrol, epsecially a rotary.   There is a T78 kit for sale with everything IIRC or a really good new TO4Z HKS kit would set you back around £2k.

Keep a look out for a second hand ones, there have been a couple of TO4R/S kits recently that were quite cheap.

If you go into it really deeply the inducer and exducer measurements will give you an idea of flow characteristics and CFM but you really need to just make sure it has an A/R hot side (turbine) of at least 0.96 - 1.0 if you want little lag and 1.15 up for bigger bhp but more lag,  the cold side (compressor) is a little less important but you need 0.70 minimum in an ideal world.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

The two main numbers you need to worry about are the Turbine Housing AR and the compressor housing AR.

For a 13b engine a larger turbine (exhaust) housing AR is required compared to a piston engine. If you have an exhaust housing that is too small it will become restrictive and could cause surge. And one that is too large will take longer to spool up and increase lag.

In general the Compressor housing sizes will be roughly the same for a said exhaust size. mating a large compressor housing with a small turbine housing  for example will again lead to restrictions and surge.

A GT35/40 R for example can come with many exhaust housings. From a .63 (smallest) to 1.06 or thereabouts.

a .63 housing is the same size that is used on a T34 turbo i had fitted to my cosworth good for 400bhp on a piston engine. But due to the ammount of gas a rotary shifts would produce a lot less on a 13b for the same sort of power from a rotary you can get a .82 or 1.0 exhaust housing. For more power you will need to go bigger.

So to summarize. a bigger exhaust housing will allow for more power but will also increase lag. This is of course my understanding ! I have heard some people think i am a "know it all" so ofcourse i could be talking complete tosh. if i am im sure someone will correct me !
