Bonnet undercovery thingy!

Hi, Just wanted to check what the pro\'s and cons are about the black cover on the underside of the bonnet, sum say its good others say its bad. Shed sum light please!

If anyone tells you its bad, give them a smack from me. It aids cooling, please dont remove it.

Also protects your paint work from the heat of the engine bay..... only time it should be removed is when you have a vented bonnet in my opinion!!!! But mine was missing when I bought the car!!!

I heard it also helps to stop in cabin noise as insulation...
