i had to leave my car out this week and i notice whenever you lift the boot in floods shed loads of water in to the boot..
but i also noticed that alot of water collects all around the inner lip of the car (Above lights etc) and just sits there and doesnt drain out.. i noticed my boot cover was up and bit and was damp as obviously the water from that lip was filling and dripping down on to the boot cover.

does any one know if there are drain holes around there somewhere? if not what has everyone else done?

i never take my car out in the rain and it sits in the garage every day but its just one of those things if you leave it outside for a bit you dont really want a soggy boot to start moulding :)

Common issue with mine mate, I open the boot very gently when its been raining !!!!!!

Mine sits on a downward slope on the drive and it collects in the sills under the boot. Did this on the Probe as well.

Drill a few holes and let it out :wiggle

mine does this too.
I park it uphill now (back pointing down)
I thought i might have a drainage problem
