Hi all

Has any one fitted dragon silenced mid pipe on their fd?  Was it as good as the feed one which reworks are selling?

Did that alter the sound much?

I have 96 Bathurst with a cat only in the mid pipe.  Down pipe has no cat.  I have a HKS big bore 3” back box exhaust which is really loud.  I love the sound and would not want to lose it with the silenced mid pie…

I have the dragon silenced midpipe but my car is fairly loud with a blitz nur spec cat back. I think the feed would bring the tone down a fair bit because it actually has a box midsection, but costs a fair wedge more. If you like the noise then don\'t change and save your £££.

Hi

I have another tread going above this re passing MOT with de-cat with 96 FG..

It looks like I will not pass the MOT with de-cat due to the car being manufactured after 95. I may have to go for high flow cat.

Thanks for the info any way

hi i have the dragon performance silenced decat pipe, very good quality perfect fit and i thought it made no or very little difference to the loudness of the exhaust on tickover and slightly lounder bark at mid-full throtle.

Hi

That is exactly what I was after, comments from  someone who has the dragon mid pipe

Thanks for that.  I am still worried about passing the MOT.  Did you pass yours OK?

What year is your RX7 ?

I\'ve got a dragon silenced midpipe too. I believe they\'ve just redesigned it to be quieter...at least that\'s what they told me.

Although mines pretty quiet I think that may have more to do with the tiger catback than the silenced midpipe.

If your catbacks a cherry-bomb style one then you may need a midpipe with a larger silenced section.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I have a big bore HKS back box.  It is huge and sound loud and fantastic.  I really want to preserve that sound.  However I do not want to go much louder…
