No Boost after 5k rpm?

3rd gear foot to the floor, i cannot get over 5000 rpm , sounds like i have hit the rev limit, (misfire) 1st & 2nd gear no problems less load?
any help please

Is that all its doing? do you have any Aftermarket goodies or is it a Stocker?

Do you get any Other Symptoms? Bad Idle,Poor starting etc?

Or is it fine until you get to 5K?

If you gradualy take it up the Rev range does it do a Simalar thing?

Do a search for OMP/MOP Pump problems, Boost solanoid Problems, Blocked Cat and see if other peoples Symptoms fit yours.

Have not tried taking it up steady,
but no its not stock, fmic hardpipe,apexi,hks frontpipe,airpump removed,

starting is fine but idel is a problem when it finally warms up (80c ) idle can creep up when arriving at a junction (1200) then settle

Its the Miss fire thats a bit puzzling? I\'ve seen cars with the second Turbo not working and they just go realy Flat (no power), but i supose its possable that it over fueld and Missfired???

This is most possable - "Boost solanoid Problem" or something of that nature.

when i say misfire i meant it sounds like misfiring, if you have ever hit the red line its that feeling like the ignition is being cut i suppose

I believe the problem is the boost solenoid mate

i had the same problem just the other day.
i **** bricks wen it happened i thought engine was a goner.
turns out to be an air leak at the uim,one of the small pipes was split
so id stick ur head under bonnet and try listen for a hisssing noise lol

Sometimes it could be that there is not enough water in the car... so let it cool down and check the water level
