apparantly rx7\'s arent fast!

Hi

I had an “incident” at the gym where I train.  Chap pulls up in a RX8 (excuse all the RX8 owners, nothing personal) parks his car next to mine and says nice car but why don’t you get your self something faster like a RX8….That really got me peeved off

I said to him “If I did it would not be an RX8 as it is underpowered…”.to cut the story short, challenge was set.
I smoked him from traffic light like there is no Tomorrow in front of few mates from the gym.

He has never said hello to me again…

16bit ECU (96Bathurst) HKS back box and Tain suspension lowered to 5” off the ground.  - Stock car. ( getting free flow mid pipe, Apexi ecu and a tune up at reworks soon)

Geff & Chris sorted this out for me, it was a second hand unit, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Give them a ring at RE:WORX, I\'m sure they can get you one or point you in the right direction. HTH.:wiggle

And im sure alot of you read J Tuner, White colt in J Tuner, thats the car the guy was in, its not the guy that owns it, he seemed like a nice guy, it was the guy he was with who put the engine in for him who was goin on bout how great colts with evo engines are.  Oh and he was goin on bout how he was gona put a evo engine in his car and put a big turbo on it and get 600bhp :rollin

Ha Ha wot a joke! Me and a friend sold them the evo that they took the engine from for this colt! We got it dirt cheap at auction and my rex wasted the evo! :spank It was bog standard at the time to! So i don\'t see how it\'s now gonna be faster than a rex when the same engine is in a front wheel drive chassis?

The thing is dont get too big headed because we own fast cars - RX7\'s. There will always be a car faster than yours unless you own thrust SSC.

Only one thing I can say: at least we don\'t have to chainge the hart of our cars to make them moove!!!! Any fool could stick a stupid engine in a car to make it quick......... I could do it to my Hi-lux (mmmmmm that may be a laugh, specialy to see his face when he get\'s chewed up by an off roader!!) £2000 and I could get my hilux to munch most things....... Dodge Viper V10 on ebay for £1500 with 500 ponies... that should: :flamed :WaveBye  CHAV!!!!!
