Luton - Herts, Beds & Bucks Meet - Saturday 2nd December

Are you going to arrange some sort of run / drive about? Static meets aren\'t my favourite in winter.  Its worth standing about doing the tyre kicking social thing if there is a \'run\' at the end of it     If so i\'d be up for it.

Can\'t promise anything, depends on date etc. and whether Wifey & Little\'un want to along for the ride etc.

Been toying with the idea of a South Bucks meet for a while; there\'s some lovely driving roads up around Quainton / Waddesdon / Stowe etc. and nice NT properties we could potentially park up in for photos etc. But I don\'t know the pubs that well in that area.

I\'ll mull on that over the winter months, and maybe plan something for early spring

my car would be happy to offer its services in showing you what a single can do......lol.
although my car is poorly at the mo, so lets put this back a week, that should give me plenty of time to get my rex sorted and book it off work. something like sat 2nd or the 9th dec,

P.s spot choosen (beafeeter etc, sounds sweet, plus nice and central).  get planning a root avoiding speed cams and likely police intrest spots.  Not that i condone speeding or stupid behaviour on public roads, (it is just more fun)

i think if a couple of people say they can come then we just need to stick with a date, we cant keep changing it because someone cant come etc.  this wont be the only one we are going to do, so if you cant make it then there will surely be another soon.  it will just be impossible trying to accomidate everyone.  i think we should say the 2nd dec as a previsional?

as for root?  i think evening would be better, so that we can grab some dinner, i dont know say where ever the first meeting point is, we will stay therefore an hour, or maybe longer if we eat first.  that way if give a window for people to arrive.  (they will get there early if they are eating, or a little later if they are just coming for a cruise)  say 6pm or something?  

and prob a bit of everything, dont want to go on a motorway slog, but if we have the oportunaty to jump on a fairly clear stretch for 1 or 2 junctions then that could be cool.  a brief fly through a busyish town on a sat night would be cool, how i love to turn heads, especially with multipul rotary roar.
an i dont know on then length pro like 30-40 miles i guess?  i dunno really.

ok right Saturday 2nd November it is perhap 5-6pm start so we can grab some food, will have loads of keys & a rotor ornament on the table for you guys, then stay for as long as we want then drive up the m1 to perhaps Milton Keynes and stop at Oceana or outside the front of MK somewhere then perhaps back to luton when we get bored of there and maybe a detour through dunstable if we really feel the need to turn some heads...

i personally wouldnt mind others ie friends family in thier cars (anything to help the cause - they will be converted *in darlic voice)

i am maybe thinking for the first meet keep it mrc (i think the odd other car eg mate, or partner)  but to be honest i wouldnt mind getting to know people from the mrc for the first month at least.  
then we might look into branching it out into more of a monthy cruise.  but in my opinion mrc for the first month at least.  unless you wanna organise it so we meet in a big car park or something later at 9pm and join others.

i agree the odd other car would be fine as friends family may want to join us & i dont think many of us have 7 seater rexs?
