have ha mine not long and had lots of problems but in the tim i have has it have loved complety smoking other people in gtis or what not my best was some bloke in a 20 k boxter s who just could keep pase as my revs wound up in forth although was humbled by my mate with a rizla rep gsxr 1000 with 190 hp at the rear weel but he takes his life in his hands on that thing lol i was as quick as i could go coming off rounderbout and he went off as if i was parked but not alot of cars could do that to the type r rx7 am sure

The trouble I have is getting anyone to take me on. One of the most impressive things about driving an RX7 is that motorbike riders wave or nod at me!

I have beat my head against the keyboard after trying to read your post, Tezz.

Say hello to Mr capital letter, Mr Comma and Mr Full Stop, and their friend Mr Sentence. You could beat them all in an Rx, but that\'s no reason to ignore them.

p.s I never really beat anything of note in either of my Rx\'s, I don\'t tend to go looking for races and nobody ever tried it on with me, how dull.

Ive never raced bloody anything of interest. In my old mister 2 turbo, i used to love racing TT\'s and boxters. but havent had the opportunity with this car.

Reputed 440 saph cosworth (4wd I think). Owner was very suprised but complimentary at the lights after. He was going to check it was all still running properly! Then I told him the REX was still running on stock boost and injectors!! Looking forward to WI, injectors and remap. Just hope it does not upset the cars balance too much as its very good now.

I\'ve moved up from BMW 318\'s to the 320\'s now, I just love the reps and there BM\'s and vectra\'s. small fry for most of you boys & girls I know but I get a different satisfaction, they just dont expect a 35 year old car to come screaming back at them and then go past them.

Bets one I have played with was a 52 plate 911 turbo!!! (just over 60mph of course) he was looking in the rear view mirror an aufull lot :eek Obviously never come accross a rex before now:wiggle
