Is there any web sites etc that have a Collection of Wheels? I am thinking of getting some 18" rims but not only do i know what rims to go for but i don\'t know where to look?

They have got to be 18", 9.5 or 10 wide at the rear and as light as poss.

I have a set of 17" enkies (white ones) and to be honist i think i would like some wheels with Polished Rims??? i will probelrly Keep the Enkies for Track days as they are quite light.

Just do a search for alloy wheels on google :) Only prob in this country is a lot only go up to being 7.5" wide. There\'s places like rarerims and stuff that do Jap style alloys and are wide enough.

TBH i\'m not going to be buying Halfords 18" rims i will be buying Volks,Rays,Works etc they have to be as light as poss being 18"

You will really need the highest offset you can find to fit 18\'s nicely like 35 ,  40 or higher
All the best Clive

Works are really well priced rims...about half the cost of Rays !!
Speak to someone like Miguel, I\'m sure he can source them from Japan (much cheaper !!)

I see sets of brand new FD fitment 18" Works on Yahoo Japan for 89000 yen.
Thats £400 odd (+ shipping, taxes etc, but still V cheap) Rays are nearer 200000yen - 260000 yen.

I like the Look of the Works VS-XX but i need to look into weights etc, i don\'t want to add to much to the Unsprung weight.

Its a bit of a Bugger i\'ll need to go to 18" i would have liked to stay with 17\'s

RAW

have you looked at rota\'s? pretty light and not that expensive.

Grizzly

No, have you got a link?

I keep meaning to ask how do you search Yahoo Japan? Unless i\'m doing some thing wrong the language convertor only seems to do half the Pages? Also i understand there are Middle men that will pick up and send stuff out (At a price)

I use these guys, the costs add up and it would be better if they would send stuff marked as gifts, but all in all the stuff still woks out at good savings.
