After just doing a full service on my 93 3rd gen Ive noticed that the plug leads have their own earth strap going to them, my brothers car does not so are my leads better or poorer quality? Secondly as I was fitting the leads back onto the spark plugs they did not seem to have a positive click as I am used to feeling, is this o.k? I ask these two questions because I devoloped a slight missfire on second turbo so decided to do oil, oil filter, coolant and a spark plug change to see if I could eliminate the missfire (was due anyway) since then I have just took her out and if I plant my foot it missfires loads!! but if I ease it on its smooth!? Ive checked all connections again and they seem correct, the leads look in ok condition but do they sound good or bad quality to u guys? thanks in advance, Ade

Not sure about the earth wire, but they should definately click into place. If they are a bit grimy it might stop them clicking quite so sharply but you should still be able to feel it. its a pretty awkward position to put any force on them but I would keep trying.
