Hiya Ppl,
I\'m soon to collect my RX7 from Southampton docks.I bought it from UIcorp and they have arranged shipping to southampton but thats it.
I have the Shipping Invoice+Liner bill of lading+Deregistration+DeregTranslation+Shipping insurance+Auctioneers settlement.

When I arrive at the docks:
 where do I go?
is it possible to do it myself?
which forms will I have to complete?(is it form C384)
 how long will it take?
can I take the car the same day?(coz i\'ll book the latest MOT that day so I can drive it home/to-MOT)

Up \'till now I have managed to sort it all myself from research and would like to carry on untill its "on the Road" but can\'t find any info on this at all!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!   Thanx Michal

Hello mate,

First thing is to contact ya logistics as i guess they are shipping your car.
http://www.yalogistics.co.uk/
These will need your original bill of laden.  They will recommend a clearing agent.  You can sort all your tax\'s now and then it will be ready when lifted off the ship.  My RX7 comes in on the 22nd at liverpool and i have paid all the tax\'s today.  Gets it out the way.

Anyway, if you need anymore help let me know

Cheers

Adam

hi,

where did you insure the car for shipment? Was it done by yourself in UK or was it insured in Japan ?

How much did them charge you ?

Thanks and REgards

Hiya,
The car was insured for me by UIcorp. They used "THE NISSHIN FIRE AND MARINE INSURANCE COMPANY,LIMITED."
Cost of insurance was 5% of car price.
Hope that helps!.
