Key Blanks

I recently had one of my keys bend, so I ordered a replacement blank with the Efini logo. I took my Blank key to my local key cutting place who told me this is the wrong key.

I believed I had ordered the correct key as I have a 1995 Jap import, and from the specialist sites it makes it quite clear that the keys are either pre or post 1998.

What had gone wrong? Have I got the wrong key or is my local key cutter just trying it on?

Anyone else had this problem?

I bought a blank off Ebay but it wasn\'t the efini one.  My key was cracked and the guy cut it without any problems at all
