Radiator fan noises

Heyas,

I\'ve noticed a strange sound from my FD, and I\'ve narrowed it down to whatever fan turns when the coolant temp goes too high (on the radiator I guess - the one that comes on full-time if you use the air con). It sounds like it\'s clipping something, or is otherwise slightly impeded. Or the fan could be dying I guess. Either way, it sounds a bit bad.

How easy is it to take off enough stuff that I can look at this? It could just be leaves stuck in there or something, but I\'d like to know.

I had trouble with one of my fans clipping a hose that had worked its way up under the fan cowling, luckily it had a foam sleeve so only damaged that. Couple of ty-raps sorted the problem.
