You can get a piggy back chip for the Apexi ECU that will retard ignition like a standard ECU.  Forget the name of it at the moment but they also sell for £300+ though!

If it\'s tuned correctly then it\'s only bad luck that should give you det - like something braking or a very very bad batch of fuel etc so really it shouldn\'t be much of a problem
