Hi there, looking at purchasing first rex.  I stay in fife Scotland and I am struggling to get a garage who deals with them, Can anyone out there help Please

Hi mate sorry for repair. Have asked at CRD in Calder and MVM in cairneyhill but they all say no

Scotland aint a good for garages for these bud, the best guy i found was mark at "The Garage" in wishaw, he removed/refitted my rebuilt engine and knows a **** load about these motors, most other wont even touch them.. if you fina a car you like i cn come with you to view it if ya like, know a fair bit about these now and im just about to do ma own rebuild jus waiting for ma baby to arrive from japan, also could import you one if that helped you?

i know we`ve not worked on these cars for long but happy to tackle most things.

as for the garage i called marc the other day and he is no longer accepting rex`s he says he`s lost too much money trying to fix them.

in what way will he not touch them bud?

\'The Garage\' are happy to complete service work on them, oil, fuel filters, plugs..leads, MOT\'s...etc but they are stopping fault finding and engine in and outs......Marc reckons the company have lost around 4K on rex\'s alone.

No business can sustain that kinda loss.

yeah think he still doing the odd jobs but from what he said he`s lost too much money on these cars..

ill probably do the same,add mods and service and leave fault finding and mapping to experts

My projects guna be a show car, got mine for a bargain and she`s gunna be a winter makeover with the whole car being re-done to the design thats in ma head lol :mmmm
