HELP! RX8 alloys on RX7?

Hi guys

I am really thick when it comes to tyres and off sets and all...

I have bought a set of chrome RX8 wheels and need to kno what tyre sixe I can put on. I notice that on my current alloys the tyres on the back are 235 and the tyres on the front are 215, (17\'s) so should i go for 225/40/18 and 245/40/18?

The correct sizes for 17\'s are 235/45R17 front and 255/40R17 rear\'s. Go via these sizes.

So the tyres on my current wheels are wrong? My new wheels are 18\'s what do you recommend?

I put 175/85/13 on the front and 265/25/18 on the back...

not sure if the RX8 wheel can take 265 on the back. I thought they were only 8" wide so really only a 235 can fir as stretch

Best bet mate is to ask a tyre garage they will know what width will fit ok
