I have just bought a used HKS induction kit (twin filter one), has anyone got any advise or instructions before I try and fit it! Any help would be appreciated for an RX novice!

It becomes pretty obvious when you have the old air box off.

Tips:
Allocate some time (like a day) incase it takes longer than expected.

You might want to get a friend to help, the hardest part is actually removing the old airbox.  The hoses will be very tight.

Get some jubilee clips.  As you take the old airbox off, you will see most the clips are those that you need to push to open, then try and slide off whilst holding them open (with pliers no doubt).  Replacing these with jubilee clips will make putting the new filters on easier and maintenance in the future easier.

Do you have the little knobbly HKS breather filter thing (nice techy explanation lol).  If not, then you will have a pipe that goes to nothing, which isnt a problem but you might want to get a little K&N filter or something to put on the end of it for neatness.  Same for the pipe from the air pump.  The HKS kit has a little vented blocker thing for that, and if you dont have that you may want a small filter to put over it.

finally got round to fitting the kit, it was easier than expected.  I have two air pipes left over as the HKS kit only had connectors for the two BOVs fitted.  I assume I just put some breathers on them???
I cannot believe the sound of the BOVs! I was under the impression that they are orignal Mazda ones (they are a gold colour), but are really really loud.  Has anyone got ideas whether they are orig or replacement???
