interlooper, havent really got any tips but if you get stuck with anything specific im happy to help. To be honest, once you know the basics of fibreglassing and using easysand filler theres not much to it. I just do this stuff as a hobby but its really not as hard as you think, persistance is the biggest thing to overcome as sometimes it just feels like your not getting anywhere when things have to be completly sanded away and started again, lol.

One thing i would say is expanding foam is a lot easier to deal with than using fabric, and a lot quicker too. I have used fabrick before ontop of risers but it limits what you can do.

With the expanding foam i just used tin foil to cover the entire boot, then squirted away with a few tubs of foam, let it set for an hour and then you can take the whole lot out the boot and start work outside the car. It was an added benefit for me that my bro is a window fitter, so he let me use as much foam as i wanted, otherwise id have spent £50 in foam. My advice would be to buy a box of foam at trade instead of individual tins.

Cheers for that bud, iv used fiber glass quite a bit over the years but like like this.. im itching to have a go lol. gunna buy a few tins today and try a few smaller projects and see how i get on, see this easy sand stuff, is that body filler? as iv got a huge tin as i do a fair bit of body work on cars i import but its not that easy to sand, even tho it says easy to sand on the tin.lol :Nono!

Would you mind emailing me all the pics you have from start to finish? just to give me a ruff idear on how to approach it?

franky, i think ive got the progress pics on my brothers phone so ill figure how to get them on the comp then email you them.

ada7, im still thinking about the location of the filter. Perhaps a Vmount would sort that problem, and ive been thinking about adding methanol injection to reduce knock in a seperate system to the water injection. Then maybe push for over 400 atw. its at 370 at present on 1bar. :)

Personally I think the \'fast car UK\' seatbelt pads finish it off perfectly, looks like someone poured in half a ton of custard to the boot, accidentally ruining some large speakers and amp boxes. ;)

:rollin i dont mind giving my engine and chassis everything it needs but ill be ****3d if im paying £25 for some pads that do exactly the same things as some free ones we had lying about. i only used about 1/3litre of custard for the boot, the half ton went all down the car:p
