After many many months (almost 12!) - my bodykit has finally arrived.  4 massive boxes full of goodies.

I should have some pics. later this week/early next week.  RE Amemiya may be a pain in the butt to deal with, but their work is outstanding - you should see the carbon bonnet! :)   I\'ll get some close-up pics.
Thanks,

rextreme

Very exciting dude.

Will look very mad indeed.

I have my box too Glenn. Its sitting right behind me and takes up half my lounge room!

I do agree their stuff is great. It just bolts on a fits.
My G9 bonnet was excellent. I didnt go for Carbon though. Just FRP

There are some pics on my site.

I hope to fit the GT AD kit over the xmas break when I have time to pull the car apart. (take the front and rear off.)

RE Amemiya were great with me.
They delivered COD with free shipping on only a small deposit
I got 20% off too.
(I am in japan mind you.)

How much was the kit? and what do you get?

Glenn Butcher

I got:

GT Widebody Kit

1. Front nose
2. Carbon bonnet
3. Sleek light kit / with 99spec lights also
4. Front guards
5. Side skirts
6. Rear guards
7. Rear bumper
8. Rear diffuser in carbon
9. Rear light surround
10. One of the most awesome rear wings I have even seen in carbon that is as big as a jumbo\'s!  :)  along with come CNC aluminium machined brackets.

I think that is it - was going to go fibreglass doors, but I can afford to take a lot of weight out of the standard doors as the rollcage will give it strength.

I think it was YEN650,000 all up (but I got a discount also).  By the time you pay for shipping and taxes it makes it a very expensive kit.

We are also going to remove the metal guards on the car itself to reduce weight so doing all that and the paint makes it even more expensive!

Should look pretty damn good though.
Thanks,

Glenn Butcher

Hi Russ,

:)  they packed the stuff pretty well - but it had to be repacked for Aussie customs.  What is your site address again?

It did take 12months from when I had actually paid for it - up front mind you, so it was frustrating to wait all that time.  I found the language barrier was the main problem and Inukai would not answer his emails etc.  But we got there in the end.
Thanks,

rextreme

Did you get all that for 650 000,
My sums add up to over 800 000

If so dude you got a real bargain.

Pics are here on my project page.
FD Project

Oh yeah!  don\'t remind me, that only includes a few things (not the bonnet, rear diffuser, light kits, etc.) I think I spent another 500,000 with them
Thanks,

Fishy

But in GBP thats about £2.50... ;)

RIGHTO!!!

Full steam ahead now.  Car is 99% stripped, just have to finish off the removal of the body deadener.  Then the boys can start work.

Following has been ordered:

Sparco Evo2 seats x 2
Sabelt harness 6 point x 1
Sabelt harness 4 point x 1
Fire extingisher bomb x 1
Sparco steering wheel x 1
Steering wheel quick release x 1
Window net x 1
Feed spherical bearing set
Front wheels 18 x 10.5 x 2  (if they\'ll fit)
Rear wheels 18 x 12 x 2 (if they\'ll fit)
Coilover shocks/springs
Peddle Box x 1
(think that is it for the moment).

Guys will start to design the rollcage soon, then install.

Still a LONG way to go - but it is moving along now.  Always the way, they have a load of other major projects to start/complete all at the same time.  (Lotus Elise racecar, two older BMW\'s (one with an E36 M3 transplant), BMW E36 production racecar, 8 second VW, supercharged M3, a very serious FC aiming to be one of the most powerful 13B\'s in the country, Allistair\'s EVIL7, etc. etc.).  So busy times ahead!
Thanks,

Here are the wheels I am looking at, can be finished in various colours.  They are being used in the Porsche Cup here, and Ferrari Challenge (so quite light in weight):

Thanks,

Fish

Glenn, so long as the offset is correct they should fit up front. Some of the US guys have them without problem, but should be even easier for you with your wide arch kit. ;)

Dan

Ta Dan, yep - proof will be in the pudding.  They are all meant to fit, but will be measured up soon.

The widebody kit really isn\'t that much wider when temporarly put on the car - we all thought it was going to be more.
Thanks,

HI RPM RX3

WOOHOO! go the simmons glenn!!!

DRAGON

I have 10F and 12R for mine, I dont think fitting will be an issue. what pedal box and master cylinder set-up have you gone for, any links?
