Blow Off Valve

yeah ok , not sure if this is in the right place to start with ! - so mods feel free to move around as you see fit !

i want my car to make the PSSSHHHTTT noise when i back off the gas - its a 1990 TII

i know people might think its sad - but each to there own eh !!

so i assume i need a Blow Off Valve ( actaully whist we are here - is this the same as a Dump Valve ? )

does the rx7 need a really fancy one OR would one of these work :

It might already have one as standard ... if you want to hear it you need to remove the dump pipe that goes back to the airbox ?

surely it\'s a recirc as standard & it\'s a VTA (vent to atmosphere) dump valve which makes the full on pssccht although i no recirc types can make plenty of healthy noise still.
Si (know bugger all about TII\'s but i lurve guestimates )

hummm i wonder about just taking the return pipe off - but not sure what damage it would do !

it has a wastegate as standard and you cant really hear it over the engine noise

but keep the idea\'s comming

have you e-mailed the rotary garages? they could answer your questions and let you know if they could get a BOV for you:D

maybe a bit expencive, also i dont know of there rep. i think a couple of people had trouble with a us company.
