I finally took the plunge

I’ve been a guest on the forum for nearly a year now, researching and waiting for the right time to buy in to the rotary scene. This week I said hell to it and bought one any way….. it’s a 1992 J reg Uk model Gen 3 in black by far the fastest color. I’m really pleased with it runs well and sounds awesome (or bloody loudly as next door put it). There are a few things I want to do before I put her on the road properly so expect plenty of stupid questions! :Hammer
   
So is there any one else on the forum from leeds? I’ll settle for any one that doesn’t say “RX-7 aye haven’t they got 2 engines and need rebuilding every 20 thousand miles”:rollin

Look on the heads of the filters. You\'ll probably find they\'re K&N.

welcome good choice of colour,there is a monthly meet at squires sherburn in elmet starts around 6.30 pm if you fancy a run there as not far.
p.s. my RX is a runner so dont panic yours isnt the only working one around

Im in halifax so not many miles from you and also another non runner but should be picking it up early next week with another fresh rebuild :Thumbsup!

Wow that is an alarming amount of non runners! but mines going away in a lock up at work (in york) so i can get some bits done on it ready for spring.

I think Rixio was refering to me not you sir.Bit of a north/south divide opening i believe.He\'s still jealous that my car got filmed more for the RS3 dvd than his!!!:D His pink tyres didn\'t give him the street cred he was expecting!!:evillaugh :evillaugh
