hi all, i have a 1994 rx7 apexi rx6 single turbo and want to fit a greddy profec b spec 2. Anyone have any basic step by step instructions on how to fit it? Ive read the m,anulal and its too complex (need someone to point out where everythign is) It already had a greddy profec (old one) fitted but the garage removed it because it was faulty. Cant get it to a gargae for a whle due to work so thought id hav a go myself,
thanks.

On a single turbo it should be relatively easy.

You should have a boost control valve - with 2 feeds on it.  One side goes to the wastegate controller, the other goes to the boost feed from the turbo - usually a small nipple on the compressor outlet pipe.  You will need to cap off any current vacuum lines that go to these areas - this is shown on the install guide.

Then on the back of the Profec unit there is another pipe nipple - this must be connected to a manifold pressure source - what ever your boost gauge is plugged into will be fine.

Then wire up the controller to the solenoid and suitable switched power source and you are away.

Singles are fairly easy, just follow the diagrams in the manual. If this is too difficult, take it to one of the specialists at the top of each page.

Prof,  with an external wastegate you normally connect the greddy solanoid to the top of the wastegate and a boost line to the lower feed on the wastegate and then another boost feed to the 2nd port on the solanoid.  The spec 2 has 3 ports on it though.
Driving machine, where are you?, i have a spec 2 on mine.  The instructions are faily straight forward as fish says.  I still have my instruction book if you need more help.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power
