Hi all,

With regard to using a set of secondary\'s as primary\'s what is the way to go?

I know of 2 company\'s who have banners at the top of the page who say different things.  One likes to machine the fuel rail to fit them in and the other say\'s no modification is needed.  Well which is the way to go then as im a little confused? :Hammer

Is there any advantages or diss-advantages from doing the one or the other?  Would just like to know as I have decided to stay with the twin\'s and 850\'s x 4 should be enough for what I need.

Thank\'s in advance :)

i machined and i was happy, but i know those that havent and were happy although one did say the pick up wasnt as good with the 850\'s over the 550\'s so maybe that was the difference.

not much help i know,  if its easy for you to machine them then go for it, if not then leave it.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Cool, cheers for that.

The pickup I was interested in also & had considered additionals.  If im honest im just trying to sort out what would be best - pickup, cost, keeping the bay tidy etc etc

So both methods dont seem to have any dissadvantage?

any differences are very marginal and on certain tune and set up may well be covered up by any tuning...

If you machine, you would only take 2 - 3mm off, definately no more than 3mm.

As it will all be done the same time as the remap then either way shouldn\'t therefore be a problem :)

Excellant stuff - thank you once again :Thumbs-up
