I am having an absolute nightmare sourcing the gasket that goes between my HKS T04S turbo and the downpipe.

It seems HKS stopped making the kit with a 4 bolt gasket and changed it to a Vband so I cant get the part from them :(

So, I\'ve tried....REworx, Haywood, RXmotors, WGT (never got back to me), SUMO Power, TDI (very helpfull), Universal Turbo\'s, Turbo Technics...all to no avail.

I saw a car at trax yesterday running a T04R which seemed to have the same flange.

Can anyone HELP ME as my car is holding up at the mo (and did 40 minutes at Trax !!!!!!) with exhaust putty, but it isn\'t a long term solution !! I may just have to get a T04Z and be done with it !! (JOKE!!)

It looks like this...

the lemster

just try all the garages at the top who advertise on here...

Jimmy\'s is pretty good..

also rotechniks in reading are good

if not do a search on google for the turbo and see if you can get eon from the US of A or japan...

Take your attachment to a motor factors, I had similar grief with an exhaust gasket off my prelude, 10 mins in the shop and they found one close enough.  A little tweak later and it was on :)

Rixio

I can get gaskets made as long as i have a template, not sure how much it is will have to find out...give me a ring and i\'ll try and arrange it :)

This is interesting !!

I may well come back to you on this Rixio if I cant get one off the shelf somewhere. Will the ones you have made stand the silly temps in this situation ??

They do stock copper gaskets too for t3 and t4 turbos for cosworths so may hae them in stock. The thermal gasket looks quite cool too, would it make a difference where the manifold bolts on !

Thread reasurection time here.....

I\'m going to contact Ferriday tomorrow and have a conversation with them, but I\'m thinking it would be a good idea to have the thermal barier gasket between the block and the manifold to keep the heat in the turbo and out of the block.

Does this sound like a good plan guys ? It sounds good to me but I\'m no expert !!

If I get them made, does anyone else want a set while I\'m at it ??
