Hi chaps,

Did anyone get the D2 coilovers? if so how are they? my rear suspension is FCuked! hard! i can bounce the rear of my fd  as if it was a basket ball!!!!

Next thing on my list is coilovers!

Tanabe ss type II going for £975 from tokyo express ...any one know how they are?

What about HKS hyper damper 2?? any got these? how are they?

i have also contacted TOP SECRET they do a custom valve so basically they engineer the coilovers for my needs i.e street/drag but they comin in at $4400 nearly £2500!!

Alot of ppl got tein Flex, are these really that good? really? my mechanic dont agree with tein flex, may be his jus a hater. but i rather hear from ppl who actually have these.

any ideas?

Iv\'e been looking at D2 coilovers and other makes too, but i think while i\'m at it i will save up and get the Tein Flex, everyone who has fitted them seem very happy with them, all the best things seem expensive. i\'ll just have to wait a bit longer, i can feel every small stone from a very hard ride!

d2 = ksport same company

ksport = £200 cheaper

I got TEIN SuperStreet Coilovers for mine. And I like em a lot, relatively cheap (cost about £600 without top-mounts), adjustable. For every day use I can\'t fault them. Much better than standard (although mine was probably knackered)

But I guess if you wanna go racing you might want something else.

A mate of mine has a Skyline and he has just put a set of D2 on it.... he  cant get the setup right, too bouncy so he says...... shocks are almost wound right up and the car bounces like an american car!!! Think his Std shocks were a better balance!!!!
