I was wondering how low can you put the fd on 18" before it hits the floor I was thinkin maybe 50MM allround anyone got any suggestions?

Get adjustable coilovers....best bet if you ask me then you can raise when you need be.

I\'ve got to raise mine, came with HKS Hipermax coilovers and the car sits 3" off the ground at the front........the tyres scrape the wheels arches on full lock, the undertray is scratched to buggery from speedbumps and any spirited driving on country roads usually results in me scraping my front bumper on the ground when going down dips etc.

If you just get springs you\'re kind of stuck if it\'s too low....just a thought :)

Good point mate how much are coilovers for the beast though I hear they are pretty pricey?

Yeah it depends on make and it\'s nice when they\'re on the car when you buy it ;) Found out mine would cost around £1000 new!! Tein are around the same I think but haven\'t looked at others so yes they are expensive but worth it in the long run in my opinion

Defo go for coilovers matey,

Mine is std coilover height on the front (as the bumper is low and only just gets up the sloping kerb onto the drive), but the back is in the weeds, with more room to go (still only half way down the adjustment!!! ).

Front catches every now and again on full lock (watch out for the wiring loom in the arches), but with fairly skinny 18\'s it\'ll drop to the floor!  At least with coils you can adjust till your hearts content.  :Thumbs-up

Only problem is they are VERY VERY hard (ouch me back!).

Check out the old eBay, you never know what\'s available for cheap.:yes
