Ok i realy need some help guys

no thanx to finding out that ive got the wrong AST cap 1.3 instead of 0.9 water hose (looks old never bothered to change when they did the alu rad) split on me just otside my house

so i realy need to get to the bottom of this rev prob as its driving me up the wall

now only time stays down is when u press brake use clutch to lower it and hold ur foot there min u let go of the brake pedal it goes back up

I did change the inlet to servo pipe (made up of a VW one way vavle and my own thick hose) as the old one was fecked and no good wil get a orignal mazda one a.s.a.p but at least starts bit better and smoother

anyhow any ideas guys please getting desperate here :(

thats cool but I think it added to the old water hose doing the splits on me and the fact the damm thing keeps idling high is not helping

But I cant believe the first owner into the country spent £450 on the new alu rad and didnt bother changing the water hoses oh well

Did putting the cat back on do anything? Long shot, but it might be worth resetting the ECU. Can\'t remember the exact proceedure, think you\'ve gotta disconnect the battery and then press the brake pedal. There\'s bound to be something about it on here.

yeah i heard to do that one tried it once before and didnt do anything

but that hose form the inlet to servo was really bad so u recon its still keeping the info from that?

i guess tonight ill put the CAT back on and go from there oh and find water pipe :(

Hello guys quick update

Changed teh servo to inlet pipe and put new water pipe

reset ECU

now idle does

2000rpm to 1800rpm to 1500rpm to 1200rpm then raises to 1400-1500rpm and stays there

this is really starting to get to me now :(

anyone got any ideas before i put the car up for sale?
