Battery

at the moment i drive my car about once a week at weekends, but when i start it the battery is usually dead and takes a while to start or i have to jump start it. Is this because im not using it much and the battery is not charging itself, or could it be something else?

Could be a duff battery, could be you have something draining the battery, typical one is leaving the boot light on, if you have one. An alarm should not drain it in that space of time.

Get it tested
