PUBLIC DEMAND, LONDON RUN IS BACK, SAT 12th August 2006

Hi Guys and Girls,

After a great fun we all had on our last London Run we have decided to organise another one on Saturday night 12th August.:3gears-rh

There will be two meeting point before we all head towards Central London.  

This is what we have planed for sure now and got good selections of cars to start with.  Its not just rotarys that can take part, any Jap motor is welcome as long as people be sensible.

This is not a race event or a track day on a public road.  The idea is to have as many rex\'s as possible togather and go for a cruise in Central London and make some noice in the tunnels..

This is just a rough route beeing planed to let everyone know.  A full map will be handed out to everyone and full details will get updated every day so keep an eye on this thread.


Meeting points;

1st  Redbridge (East London A12)

2nd  Ace Cafe (North London A406)

Route:

Our first meeting point will be at Redbridge, about 7pm(same starting point as last run) many people know how to get there. you can join us all if you like at this point. Deprting time 8.00pm sharp.

We will then take a straight drive down on A406(nice open roads and 5 tunnels to blast through) to Ace Cafe; (Our second meeting point; 9.00pm).  The food is served at Ace and the parking should not be a problem.  This is for those who can\'t join us from Redbridge but will be good for those comming down from more North and west.

Departing Ace at round 10.00pm sharp. back onto A406 and take A40 from hanger lane round about going straight into London.

We will avoid Regent street, oxford street, leciester square and trafalgur square traffic and stay towards Hyde park, Victoria or park lane side of the town.  We will then take a drive by parliment square, embankment and through our favourite part; the lime house tunnel and blackwall tunnel with our finishing point at the Dome.

Anyone from MRC and FDUK is welcome.   Others are welcome but please, please as i said above its not a race event of any kind so please behave on public roads and lets all have fun.
