I got the FMIC very cheap ad want to put a single in soon, so the only way forward was a FM. The XS ic are cool, a lot of people are developing them into V Mounts, and as Chris said al ot of other high power Jap cars are runnig them with great results

antnicuk

i\'m using the big universal XS power i/c in mine,  works really well.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Pete take the air duct out and about 1.5 inchs needs to be cut all the way round. Use a electric jigsaw as it will only take about 5 minutes to do. Once the duct is cut put back into its original place to see if any more has to be cut off. Its important not to cut off to much coz if you do the air wont be hitting the IC properly. After the duct is cut, use some gaffer tape to hold the duct against the IC. Cover the whole duct in tape to as much as you can cover. Therefore the air coming through the duct will enter the IC nicely. To be honest it doesnt matter what it looks like as you can cover the duct up after with the original Top panelling as i did in mine ( see photo ).

Any prbs give me a shout mate

Have any of you seen the XS power manifolds you can get form the states for the RX to take a single turbo? Come with a T4 flange and external gate, 2.9mm thick pipe work, T304 grade stainless and all tick welded, 3/8" thick steel used on the flanges aswell I think.
 Sorry to hi-jack ya there:)

Be useless wont it as it\'ll be a left hooker?

I have noticed a few comments about LHD parts not fitting the RHD models, why is this?
Obviously the steering racks and the clutch connections are different, aswell as the brake system being a bit different, but I didn\'t think any of this would have been a problem.

Chris

Grizzly

Think about it, if you have a Down pipe for example that has been made for a car that has its steering colum on the LHD side it\'s going to have more room so oviously its a gamble if it will fit the same model but RHD so there is less room to clear things like the Colum ??

Its also basicly the same with brake servo\'s etc.

they do fit but some times need a little tweaking,  dont get a down pipe to match though, make your own.

That is a good point Grizzly, thanks. Ant do you know of anyone running a LHD manifold on a RHD engine? If you do do you know what sixe down pipe ethe are using? As I want to go with a full 3" system inc the down pipe.
It\'s a shame if they don\'t fit as they are so much cheaper over there
