HELP putting dash back in!

Hi.

Putting the dash back in an FD3 and forgot to take note of which way round the green and red wires go on the back of the instrument cluster. They are the only two wires that are held with screws. They are close together but one is higher than the other.

Anyone know which way round they go?

Much appreciation for any help.

When i took the dash out i was sure all the plugs would only go back in one way - aren\'t they all unique?

These are the only two wires which are not on plugs. All others only fit where they fit. Wish id took more note of them when I unscrewed them.

Are you talking about wires from the car into the back of the dash, or wires inside the cluster itself?

If you have got a multi meter you will be able to test both sides otf the circuit, that will tell you which is poss and which is neg.

The wires were from the car onto the back of the dash. I took a gamble and put the red on top. All seems to be working ok :)

Unless i\'m misremembering, the only wires i had to plug back into the dash from the car all had plugs - apart from the red LED... How odd.

Did a search on here and cant find any referance to them. Possibly alarm? They come out of a sealed little black box which has other wires in and out of it. Wierd.
