Hi guys

Could you tell me the difference between the hks racing suction kit and the super powerflow intake and which one of these is best.

Cheers

Grizzly

The Rs kit has longer pipes so they remove all the rubber pipes back to the Turbo inlets and the filters sit in a difrent place.

The other kit keeps all the stock pipe work but add\'s two filters at the front of the car.

I think there is a diffrence in price too.

The picture i\'ve attached is the RS kit. .

Or this is the super powerflow intake

The RS kit is neater (in my experience having had both)....plus the filter/pipe for the front turbo bolts directly to it replacing the plastic elbow that\'s there. There\'s also plenty of room for a V-Mount in there with the RS kit too, but it is more expensive.

Only problem is I\'m looking at ways of getting cold air to it...

Do you think it makes any diffrence to the power??

I personaly have taken the HKS kit off and fitted a pettit cold air Induction kit which is suposed to be the best you can buy for the twins!! but this still uses the Rubber pipes??

I made my own setup, still not cheapest thing to do though !

Possibly...it\'s just nice knowing there\'s no chance of it cracking I guess :) As for power...well my car isn\'t boosting properly anyways so I couldn\'t really tell. Probably not.

You see thats were we see it diffrently, i wanted my intake as far away from the warm air as poss and the Pettit kit comes with Duckting etc that does exactly that, it also does\'nt run the BOV return back into the Intake pipe so it creates less Turbulance in the Intake tract, Plus it gives me enough space to run what ever IC set up i want so i\'m happy with what i have.
