:) oh yeah thats it, I cant make the pub meets cos im always working :(

Looking at it, I\'ll just buy it with the discount. For the cost difference it doesn\'t make much sense. Great that the discount is there though !

Sorry if that messes things up !

Has anyone fitted one of these valves, are they as good as they claim to be?

I know the last post before this is a few years old so I’m hoping most of the people who wanted to order one will have some decent feedback.

I have ordered my RX-7 from Jimmy’s RX-7\'s and just waiting to pick it up in the next couple of weeks. So was wondering if I should fit this valve when I first change the oil?

Cheers,
James.

Smifta

Yeah, I fitted one last year, I\'ve a done a couple of changes since, and so far it\'s held up fine. The valve still works fine and it\'s not rusty at all.

Iain,

This thread was dug up from over a year ago! You don\'t really need to doa group buy, they\'re very reasonably priced anyway, and the shipping was very fast from the US to me.

A useful little valve, I wouln\'t say I couldn\'t live without it though!

nice one-i\'m gonna order one now.

has anyone with standard twin turbos worked out a way of removing the oil filter without taking the intake elbow and throttle body off yet!? then an oil change really would be easy. if only they had mounted it a few mil further out.

Ada7

If you loosen the filter off a little then drain all the oil out of the engine, when you come to take the filter off completely, most/all of the oil should of drained off so you wont have an problem in getting oil everywhere and the filter should be easy to take out

it\'s not the fact that it will be messy, it won\'t physically come out unless i remove the elbow and tb. i thought it may just be my car but it was the same on mooseman\'s FD. you can unscrew it a certain way but then it just hits a screw and won\'t go any further.

You sure you\'ve got the correct filter on, then? Never had a problem changing filters. Used 3 or 4 different brands over the years - they are all small and quite compact in size.

Smifta

I\'ve never had a problem removing the filter.... I get the size that Halford\'s have in their little look-up book in-store.
