My coilovers have an adjuster knob at the bottom, with 1 - 4 on it.  Does anyone know which is the most firm setting? I cant tell any difference by pushing the car down.

With a shock out i still cant tell any difference when i push the shock strut down but it rebounds (springs back out) faster on setting 1 than on setting 4 which is quite slow.

400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

My guess on your diagnosis would be that 4 is the hardest :) I\'d also guess that you wind the adjuster clockwise for 4 and counterclockwise for 1?

hi max,

yes,  you are right,  clockwise as you look at it takes it from to 4.

so the firmer the shock the slower the rebound??

Yep, the firmer the shock, the more resistance it has to the spring compressing(bump) and the spring restoring to normal length again (rebound).

So yes, slower is firmer ;)
