is skyline twin turbo sams as FD\'s twin??

Hi..i m looking for a replacemnt turbo for my twins and i remb someone said that u can use skyline\'s twin??is this possible and a simple replacement or u need to replace other parts etc???

Sam,

Do you need new turbos and a new engine, or is it just the turbos that are the problem?  

If you need both I really do feel for you.  Quite a lot of bad luck.

Cant help with your question im afriad, but I wouldnt have thought a set of stock Skyline turbos would be much cheaper.

yes new engine and a set of turbos too......the amount of parts i had put in the car is like rebuild a car with all new parts:eek: :confused:

I know - if you still sell that someone is going to get a seriously good deal.

So whats that going to be now?

New uprated rad
All new suspension bushes
New Engine
New Turbos

So when did the turbos go then?  You never metioned there was a problem before the engine went, or is it just a case of may as well do them now?

is the engine damages which causes the turbo damage too.......i just think i m seriouly bad luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

n should i say wot else that i havent replace???:mad: :o

I believe they will not be a direct fit, Reworx had some 2nd hand ones a while ago, mine.............

Did this start before or after the insurers started screwing you around ?

arent they different make turbos as well? Mazda use Hitachi turbos quite robust, some  Americans run theirs at 16 psi in non-sequential mode, but i dont think skyline turbos will fit, as the mazda twin turbo pack has them integrated into its own custom housing

Hi There

I have had an on-going boost problem. I replaced the Turbos with new ones, but my symptoms havent changed.

I therefore have good Twin Turbo pack. I took it to Geff who opened up the Secondary Turbo, but could find no fault with it - blades looked good, etc.  

So, the Secondary Turbo needs re-assemby. I am not sure if there is a proper way to do this, some sort of setup procedure?

Geff can vouch that the Primary Turbo is mucho strong, he drove the car when trying to diagnose my fault.

Therefore, I have a turbo pack for sale, though you will need someone to setup the Secondary turbo.

Hi Martin, has Geff still got your turbos I have my car booked in for next week. Been getting alot of fumes from exhaust everytime I boot it, if my turbos are kaput I would be interested in buying yours. Am getting some other mods while the cars down there intercooler, downpipe, induction and will be ditching the cat oh and new ECU. So if there is anyone out there with any of these bits going cheap I would be most interested in buying them. Cheers Leigh.
