I\'m totally new to this forum stuff, but have been advised to get into it by one of the guys I met down at REWORX last weekend, so sorry if I have been laim in finding the answer to my question using the search menu.

Basically I\'ve got a 2002 engine which came with an Apexi ECU but no commander, and wondered if anyone knew which one I\'m supposed to get as I know the post \'95 cars went from 8 to 16 bit ECU\'s. Are there any other changes, or will any commander work?

Ta.

If you have a working Apexi ecu on a 2002 engine it will be a 16bit so you will need the same commander to match it. To double check if you look on your ecu there will be a code number you will need to match that. HTH

where abouts in brighton you from?

Thanks John, will the code for the commander be the same code thats on the ECU, or  is there a letter at the end or something that will be different? Its just theres one on Ebay at the moment but all it says in the listing is that its an \'FC Commander 3 (Version 5.00A)? Any ideas?

I live in the Preston Park area.

ok, all you need is the commander 415-X001 is the sort of generic one that they produce for all power FC\'s

oh and i know a man who has a power FC for sale. (for your car).

Thanks for that, I\'ll just have to keep a look out for a commander for sale, then hopefully I can cal out the rough low speed driveability issue.

Sorry for the reply earlier I didn\'t read it properly.
Thanks again
