your about £600 over priced in my eyes :D :D :D

this is where it gets wierd - that last cab i bought ( as a non runner which yours is ) cost me £200 ( pics are here : http://www.fc3s.co.uk )

i bought a TII with a blown engine for £400

i bought mine as a runner with FMSH and a rebuild with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax for what you are selling yours for and i drove it home ... it was only afterwards that i found it was being held together with rust !!!

it all depends on how long you want the car to sit on the drive - if it was running correctly then it could be worth £1500 - £3000 , in the state its in ... who knows

i have seen them on ebay for about £1200 and they are runners

its what people are prepared to pay - you make it too much £££££££ and people buy FD\'s - too cheap and people walk away

with yours being a non runner - it could still cost £500 to sort it - it could be anything - from a 20p seal to a £500 ecu ??

its an auto aswell - not sure if people want them or not ??

im surprised that its not been sold yet - but its the not running bit that makes people walk away - in the same situation what would you do ?? would you buy a non runner for £600 ??????????

i looked at a 1991 cab in a garage about 3 months back - it had well over 20K of work done to it in its life and that was at £1995 - but it came with a warranty and you could drive it away

like i said - all you need is a buyer to part with cash

my mate on here sold his TII with no engine for £150 and it took about 12 weeks to sell it - now that was a cheap car it really was

i dont know what to suggest to you matey

i still think it would look nice on my drive way though - but even the non running side is putting me off

i was speaking to a mate last night who is DESPERATE to buy a TII - so told him about this one .. his answers

1 - i want a coupe and nothing else
2 - i dont want a car that i need to fix first
3 - doesnt want an auto

so if people have that attitude then yeah you might struggle ???

im just not sure matey - i thought it would have been bought in a second

if you was more local and it drove - you would have had the cash a long time ago :D - and it takes a lot to get any amount of cash off me - ask anyone on this forum !! LOL

ekk thats a long post :D

( this is no way trying to spoil the sale of your car incase you think thats how it written - its just the FC market at this time )

Like you say if it were running it would have probably sold by now.

But I would have been asking more money.

As for your comments I\'m sure your right, you know a lot more about the RX7 market than I do.

grinder

the FC market has been in a bit of a state for a while now

i have seen TII swap hands for £400 and i have seen people on here trying to sell them for £5K

there is a really nice cab on here at the mo for about £3200 - but thats had a repsray and running nearly double the BHP as a stock one !

im soooooooooooooo tempted by yours to be honest matey - even if i cant get it going  i can keep the wheels and fog lights :D

have you not got the time to get it running ( i know you are busy with the GTIR ) or is it a case of cant be bothered anymore ???

lets see what kev comes up with and im sure we can have a rethink

just dont let it sit on the drive and rot away - it can do that at mine ! LOL

i still assume there is no flexibilty in price ?? ( hey its worth a try - im cheap and every one here knows it !! )

I don\'t think it\'s a case of being bothered anymore, I have never really been bothered with it.

I bought it as a whim as I liked the look of them.

I\'m afraid I don\'t think I could move on the price.

Should get my GTiR back this weekend, Also added HKS cams to work getting done this week. Should have about 350bhp when I get it back.

Ps GTiR only has 440cc injectors as standard

As for rusting away, I cant find any rust on the bodywork what so ever. no bubbles anywhere.

grinder

the body is usually fine - its the sills that rot away to nothing - could be worth having a prob round with a big hammer and see what its like

440cc as stock - ekk the FC runs 550/550 as stock and the FD runs 550/850\'s !!

i have had a shipping price - like i said - it just bumps the whole price up on the car and makes a bargain not a bargain ( if you know what i mean )

just need to sweet talk the better half and see what she says - then work out if its worth coming and looking at it or not ??

THUD : you dont fancy going having a nosey for me do you ????? saves me a 270 mile round trip :D

keep in touch abmunro - you are slowly convincing me !! LOL
