Guys, whats the chances of being able to get a UK spec RX-7 and what is the latest reg they went to?

like can i get an R-reg for 10k?

Reason i\'m asking is i want to get a personal reg, but have my heart set in an R plate.  (R4 YNM spaced R4YN M to read RYAN M)

Am i looking for hobby horse poo poo or do i have a chance?

I was just going it post that, but then I have to say I think its worth the asking price from looking at it.

UK car, 1997 with not many miles...

Dont expect something for nothing as they say.

Out of interest, is there a specific reason for wanting a UK-spec car Ryan?

My thoughts exactly Rich!

Why not get a jap 97 year car?

R reg cars will be more than 10k mind. A good 97 a fair bit more!

From my experience a UK car is much easier to insure.  Many places refused me once I said it was imported after originally getting a UK quote.  Others wanted about a grand extra :(

I Only wanted uk spec as i didn\'t think you could get a jap import that would be a "R" reg.

A 97 japanese import is what i\'m planning on getting, either through Jimmys or through New Era with Miguel.

I\'m a bit worried though as i drive 60 miles a day in and out of Edinburgh. My fuel costs will be a bummer, but what the hell, the car is more than worth it and i ain\'t buying it with the MPG as a selling point!!

The last year they made RX7\'s in Japan was 2002 ... so in theory you could buy an \'02 reg  rx7 ... they would certainly cost more than 10K though.

I have 2 T reg blue RX7s for-sale. One standard and the other modified. Let me know if you want more details. Ross@dragonperformance.co.uk
