When removing the air con comprssor from a FD, can it just be taken off and a smaller belt brought?
I am asking as I am rebuilding my FD at the minute and have taken out the air con as it was in the way for my FMIC piping.  Have removed the air pump also as am going single turbo and have brought a pully kit from dragon, is this all that is needed to remove the air pump?  Any advice appreciated.

The belt is listed in autofactors books, You just need to take out the rad, the pump and all the piping. Not a hard job really.

I think you need a blanking kit for removing the airpump too, no doubt somebody else will know what it is.

Yeah, for completeness you can remove the Air Control Valve from the Lower Inlet Manifold and blank it off, although I don\'t think it\'s absolutely necessary if your not fussed on taking off the UIM.
