Looking at getting a sandwhich plate to assist with the cooling duties on my 1988 13b NA. What is the thread of the filter for the sandwich plate to work with?
Anybody know who supplies sandwich plates for rex\'s?

Have to be a bit carefull here some of the sandwhich plates req. different filters for eg sandwhich plates by \'GReedy\' some need a Toyota filter instead.
A normal Mazda one will fit but seems to run out of thread therefore not to compress the sealing ring enough.I have a champion part no if you need it later.I would of though any of the tuners at the top of the page could supply
the sandwhich bit though around £45ish I think

well i found one for mazdas 89\' on.£20......but the filter didnt change between 1988 and 1990 on rex\'s did they?

Are they best for better oil cooling? What other ways are there? Im running stock oil cooler atm....

no, all the filters are the same for a long way back with Mazda engines

have a talk with think auto (mocal UK) they do them at a reasonable price. If you were a club member you would also get a nice discount with them *hint* ;)

Hi,

Will this apply to FDs ?

I have a Greddy adapter and used a Mazda Oil filter with no problems previously but dont wanna be caught out.

Paul-Tll

If you have no problem it must be ok.Otherwise you would have to fit it
very very tight to make  a seal (this prob. may only be on GReddy remote kits) though.
