I\'ve pretty much decided to modify the RX-3 so I thought I\'d do some shopping and picked up one of these stainless dumpy mufflers. It\'s designed for high horsepower Rotaries so will have to wait till my next engine but it should look quite good!
Yes I know you can see me  :WaveBye

Forgot to mention - I ordered this muffler on a Thursday but they were out of stock and had to make a fresh one for me. I had it by Saturday :Thumbs-up

That looks so cool on an oldschooler..... :mmmm

dubber91

OMG that is cool.....
Really compact and lovely would fit in where space is at a premium....

*thinks*

MikeLMR

are you still over in NZ then ? (git :D )

travellinbob

No he is back now and needs to be spilling the beans on what he is going to do! :)
cheers, michael. Oh and I see what you mean about seeing you in the reflection. Do you have alot of trouble walking about with one leg so much shorter than the other? he, he, he..

mullins

Hi lads, okay time to spill...

The muffler is 3" in and 4" out
It cost $350 NZD (£125 approx)
I brought it back in my suitcase :Giggle

Plans for the RX-3 are basically better wheels, brakes and suspension and then eventually paint and engine. It will probably be a similar route to which Mike is taking with the 323.

I got the 10A running at the weekend with the aid of a new set of plugs but it refuses to idle (even when warmed up) and floods so I\'ve got to have a look at the tune (hopefully all it is). I\'ll use the 10A to get me around until I drop a Hayward 13B bridge in. :mmmm

My original plan was to keep the car stock but I\'m getting bored and the paint really isn\'t in good enough nick to keep so retro modified it is! :cheers

Come on spill the beans on who made it then!

We\'ll hopefully have some updates on that after RSIII ... there aint no fixed plan though ;)

I got it from a mag and turbo outlet (they are throughout N.Z). I\'m looking at freight options atm as I have a few people interested in these and may be able to organise a group buy of some sort. They also make the funky rotor shaped barrels!

Looking forward to hearing any updates Mike. :)

Give the carby a good clean Hayden... or maybe send it to Heyward Rotary for rekitting.  I am sure it is nothing too serious - give the 10a a chance before you get too far into modifying the 3.

Work has finally begun.

I\'ve had a bit of a measure up for the springs. The photo below is about where she\'s going to end up - maybe a little lower.:evillaugh

Here\'s a few more progress pix......

Hmmm, here\'s a comparison between a GB spring (left) and a NZ spring. Bearing in mind this car was {supposedly} always garaged it\'s quite rusty!
